Exploring the Masks We Wear in Everyday Life

We’ve all faced hardships in this life, and if you’re still here, it means you’ve already overcome so much. Along with the struggles, each of us also has known moments of joy, those precious experiences that make life worth living.

Through it all, we’ve developed many faces, or masks, along the way: sorrow, fear, anger, hate, hope, love, and joy. These masks don’t simply disappear as we grow; they are stored within us, like keepsakes in a spiritual drawer beside our bed, quietly reminding us of both the pain and the beauty of yesterday.

For many, the wounds of life run so deep that their joy gets buried beneath layers of conflict, resentment, chaos, and bitterness. Sadly, that becomes all they can see. Without realizing it, they reach for the same mask each day, repeating the same painful experience over and over. They aren’t living a full life; they’re reliving the same hard day, again and again. But here's the truth: we’ve all been given the gift of free will. That means we get to choose how we experience life, moment by moment, day by day.

So I encourage you: choose joy. Choose love. Choose the mask that brings healing to yourself and radiates healing to those around you. You have the power. Use it. 🌟
